Chemical Injection Metering Valves
SkoFlo® Subsea Chemical Injection Metering Valves (CIMV), use an innovative pressure independent regulator that allows chemicals to be distributed at different injection points from a common line, reducing the number of umbilical and the cost to the operator.
The SkoFlo Low/High Flow CIMV pressure independent regulator responds instantaneously to system disturbances and pressure changes to maintain a constant flow rate. This contributes to unmatched flow stability and field proven reliability. The High Flow CIMVs are designed for injection of chemicals such as MEG or Methanol, while the Low Flow CIMVs are designed for injection of chemicals such as Scale, Corrosion and Wax Inhibitors.
Features (High Flow):
- Flow ranges from 0.10 – 97 US GPM (12 – 22,030 LPH)
- Pressure Independent Flow Control
- Accuracy better than ±3% of reading
- Maximum working pressure 15,000 psi (1034 bar)
- Maximum water depth 10,000 ft (3,048 meters)
- Vertical or horizontal mounting on tree or manifold
- Controller Area Network (CAN bus) or Modbus communication protocol
- Normal Operation draws 1 – 2 watts of power
- When new Flow Rate is desired, Flow Adjustment draws 4 watts of power
Features (Low Flow):
- Flow ranges from 2 – 1200 US GPD (0.3 – 189.3 LPH)
- Available up to 1600 US GPD (252.3 LPH) upon request
- Pressure Independent Flow Control
- Accuracy better than ±2% of reading
- Below 2 LPH, accuracy is highest rated among all Subsea CIMVs
- Maximum working pressure 15,000 psi (1034 bar)
- Maximum water depth 10,000 ft (3,048 meters)
- Vertical or horizontal mounting on tree or manifold
- Controller Area Network (CAN bus) or Modbus communication protocol
