Back Pressure Regulator (BPR)
SkoFlo Back Pressure Regulators (BPR) are self-regulating devices that activate when well pressure falls below the device’s factory set point.
This is achieved with a simple, debris-tolerant mechanical design that doesn’t need power or communication. By creating back pressure in chemical injection lines, our BPR models also prevent chemicals from draining into injection points when a chemical hydrostatic head exceeds the injection pressure and production wells become sub-ambient. They are designed to be installed on subsea trees, manifolds, logic caps, and Multi Quick Connect (MQC) plates.
Features:
- Flow ranges from 4 US GPD – 10 US GPM (0.79 – 2,271 LPH)
- Maximum working pressure 15,000 psi (1034 bar)
- Maximum water depth 10,000 ft (3,048 meters)
- Vertical or horizontal mounting on tree or manifold
- Controller Area Network (CAN bus) or Modbus communication protocol
- Normal Operation draws 1 – 2 watts of power
- Sensor accuracy ±0.05% of full scale (sensor full scale rating is 20,000 PSI)
- Loss of pressure regulation will not block flow
