Knuckle Boom Cranes

Electro/hydraulic cranes, model “GK 25-20”.

Installed on board the vessel HAI YANG SHI YOU 701 and 702 (DEEP-WATER INTEGRATED RESEARCH VESSEL). The cranes are suitable for use in marine environment, installed in safe area, and designed/manufactured in accordance with CCS Rules for Classification of Ships and DNV No. 2.22 lifting appliances, June 2013.

The operational performances can be achieved in the environmental conditions where external ambient temperature range is -15 to 45°C with sea water temperature up to 32°C and up to 80% relative humidity. The crane’s winch is integrated with an Active Heave Compensation System. The AHC system maintains the load at constant depth.

Extreme data AHC mode:
• Max. load = 25 ton included wire rope weight Period= 8,5 sec.
• Heave amplitude = ± 2,5m (5m tot. motion) (Boom tip
nominal displacement)
• Max. speed in AHC mode = 2 m/s (120 m/min.)
• Reference system = MRU’s signal
• Crane jib tip amplitude = +/- 2,5m period = 8,5s (sinusoidal)
